To save money we’re not mailing Save the Dates, but we still made one! We’ve posted it as our Cover Photo on Facebook and e-mailed it to our moms to forward to family. So far, it seems to have been cost effective and people are in-the-know. We’ll probably also help compensate by sending out our invitations earlier than normal.
There’s not a lot to the process of how we made them. We used my room mate’s magic markers and my digital camera. I edited it in iPhoto. David’s room mates thought we were weird and maybe cute. A hidden secret: I actually like this take better than the one we chose, but you can’t see the writing on David’s forehead well enough.
