This was our substitution for the Dollar Dance/clinking of glasses to see the bride and groom kiss. That became a non-option when we decided to go with plasticware.
Instead, near the reception gift table we had a bell and a fish bowl that read “RING BELL FOR BRIDE AND GROOM KISS.” Anyone could give it a whirl, and, of course, wherever we were in the reception hall, David and I knew that sound meant we had to got to smooch. If people wanted they could even put in a dollar. Cha-Ching. Here, David’s best man, Tyler, enthusiastically demonstrates.
To add a little more interest in that area, we created a display of childhood photos. We loved it, and people were even generous enough to give us cash!
