Chocolate covered pretzels is my all-time favorite snack. These brownies are like an amplified, monster-truck version. Rev your engines and let’s begin.

Nutella Pretzel Brownies
Makes 9 brownies

8 ounces pretzels
1/3 cup brown sugar
3 tablespoons butter, melted
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1/3 cup Nutella
1/4 cup cocoa
2/3 cup flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
Extra Nutella and pretzels for garnishing

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place pretzels in food processor and break into small pieces. Mix in melted butter and brown sugar. Empty mixture into 9×9 baking dish. Firmly press crust to bottom in an even layer. Bake crust by itself for 12 minutes. Meanwhile, prepare brownies by combining sugar, butter, vanilla, salt, and eggs in a large mixing bowl. Slowly add cocoa, flour, and Nutella to batter. Transfer into dish on top of pretzel crust.

Bake for 25 minutes.

Allow brownies to cool and garnish with dollops of Nutella and pretzels.
