PERFECT BURGERS

April 27, 2016

The difference between grilled over an open flame and in a skillet on the stove is almost incomparable. It is spring and we are grill obsessed! This simple seasoning mix makes our favorite, most flavorful burgers. It is a versatile one too that goes well with lots of burger topping combos. The part that I think makes a big difference? MUSTARD POWDER. Well, that and, I cannot not mention the garlic powder as well. Here is a recipe for homemade sesame seed hamburger buns as well!

Do I just sprinkle on top of patties or mix it into the whole pound of beef before making patties?

      Mix in the raw meat!

While we don’t cook burgers on the grill (I don’t eat burgers so my husband gets them at our favorite restaurant – often!), we use our grill all year long. We’re lucky to have an area that’s protected from the elements so we can use it in any weather. We also use our smoker but that’s mostly in the warmer weather so that it’s easier to control the temperature. My husband loves his Weber gas grill – me, I stick to the inside cooking.
