CRAB & GNOCCHI GRATIN CASSEROLE
Serves 5-6

2 pounds gnocchi
1 pound crab meat, cooked
7 tablespoons butter
1/4 cup flour
3 cloves garlic, minced
3 cups half & half
16 ounces mozzarella cheese, shredded
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 and 1/2 cups panko bread crumbs
1 tablespoon parsley
Salt & pepper

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cook gnocchi according to the package instructions.Drain and arrange in a 9×13 baking dish.

Add the crab meat and mix.

Melt 4 tablespoons of butter over medium heat in a large saucepan. Whisk in flour, half & half, and garlic. After 1-2 minutes, adds cheese and season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg.

When smooth, pour over crab and gnocchi.

Melt remaining butter and toss with panko. Sprinkle panko over dish and bake for 20-30 minutes, until golden brown.

Garnish with parsley and serve.
