Gold Honey Bear Vase

Sometimes I like things a bit childlike. I discovered this sweet idea from one of my favorite blogs here. Conveniently enough, I was about to run out of honey and had a plastic bear eager for some sprucing.

Empty out your bear and clean him up good. Remove the label (I used Goo Gone) and get any lingering stickiness out.

Using metallic acrylic paint, layer several coats onto exterior. Allow to dry for about an hour between each coat.

My bear needed a total of three coats. (Pictured above is after just one). Acrylic paint works pretty well on plastic, especially for items like this that won’t experience much handling.
