This is our favorite way to eat broccoli right now! I would rather eat this than fries. I would rather eat this than fries. Let that realization wash over you. Below the broccoli is pictured with brown sugar spiced baked chicken, which is terrific to go with this because they are baked for the same amount of time and at the same oven temperature. Also, you can do it with broccolini. Which I think I generally like more, when I can get it.
Crispy Baked Broccoli
Serves four
2 bundles broccoli or broccolini
2 tablespoons olive oil
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
Toss broccoli in olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Spread broccoli in an even layer on a lined baking sheet.
Bake for 20 minutes.
