CROCKPOT BAKED POTATOES

I like baked potatoes. More than like, I like like them. (These quick oven ones changed my world.) And a crockpot potato is nearly a necessity for summer cooking. It avoids heating up the whole house, and, like all crockpot things, you get throw them in and forget about it. I especially don’t mind because normally baking a potato already takes forever.

CROCKPOT BAKED POTATOES
Serves 4

4 russet potatoes, washed and dried
Aluminum foil

Wrap potatoes in aluminum foil. (No need to prick holes in exterior.) Cook on low for 8 hours.

    Is there any way to cook these without using aluminum foil? I have read so many terrible things about using it for cooking that I try to stay away from it.
