SIMPLE KOREAN BEEF

November 10, 2014

For me to buy a specialty ingredient, it has to have popped up in at least three or four recipes I have wanted to try. Sesame oil is one such product that at first I may have been skeptical to splurge on (cabinet space more than money), but I am so pleased I did. For giving asian dishes an edge that makes it feel more restaurant-quality, it is a must. I used it in this korean beef, but we also use it in some of our other regulars like one pan coconut shrimp and noodles, tangy thai green beans, and better than takeout chicken fried rice.

Thank you for this recipe! I have been making it at least once a month :D I’ve been switching out the ground pork for ground turkey and it’s a dream! Thanks again!!

  • Cindy

Would it be totally weird to switch the beef with pork instead?

    • Rachel Schultz

I don’t think so! Great idea.
