FILET OF FISH BURGERS

November 19, 2014

Last night we watched some pretty hilarious Jim Gaffigan clips about McDonald’s and Subway. My goodness, it had both of us laughing. First of all, I have been maintaining for years that the “meat” at Subway should under no circumstances be consumed. And it was affirming to hear Jim agrees with me.

Also, he calls out the people who “don’t do” McDonald’s. Of which I am one. (Well, except $.52 vanilla cones). To which he retorts: MCDONALD’S WOULDN’T WANT YOU ANYWAY. So be it then! These are my fresh, homemade filet of fish burgers. (Notice I kept the “f” in of. That denotes a total difference in quality standard.)

Haha, we just watched some Jim Gaffigan, so this post has me cracking up. It took me back to his remarks about McDonalds especially!! Too funny! Anyway…these look amazing and I will be trying them!

      Thanks Melody!

OMG…I have to make this ASAP. I don’t like tartar sauce either but I can see myself making some kind of concoction with Sriracha sauce and mayo!

      Good idea!

These look so good! Recently found your blog and I love how accessible most of the recipes are – I scroll to the list of ingredients and am pleasantly surprised to find that I have everything! Nothing worse than seeing a delicious-looking recipe and the ingredients list is a mile long full of one-off, expensive items. So, thanks!

I am the same way, Nina! Thanks.
