(EXTRA SOFT) OATMEAL CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES

November 13, 2017

Let’s just be completely candid on what these cookies are like. There are many different “cookie personalities.” Thin and crispy, I do not get you, but I can respect you.

So these! My husband is all heart eyes for them. They are very soft, but with a crisp and flakey exterior. If that is your cookie profile, DO IT.

These look delicious! I’m just curious though…most cookie recipes have you cream the butter and sugar together first, finish adding the wet ingredients, and then add the dry ingredients. Is there a reason you add everything to the dry ingredients first?

  • OMG these sound so delicious! There is nothing I love more than a warm, extra soft oatmeal cookie :) Especially the delicious smell they waft through your house while you back them!
