HOW TO MAKE STIR FRY WITH TOFU!
- 3 tablespoons sesame oil, divided
- 14 ounce extra firm tofu block, sliced into centimeter square pieces
- ⅓ cup soy sauce
- ⅓ cup peanut butter
- 1 tablespoon grated ginger
- 2 tablespoons rice wine vinegar
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- ¼ teaspoon red pepper flake
- 3 carrots, diced
- 1 cup soy beans (edamame)
- 1 onion, diced
- 4 green onions
- 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
- White rice
- Heat 1 tablespoon sesame oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Pat tofu dry. Add tofu to pan and saute for 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Prepare sauce by blending soy sauce, peanut butter, ginger, 2 tablespoons sesame oil, rice wine vinegar, garlic powder, brown sugar, and red pepper flake.
- Add sauce, carrots, edamame, and onion to tofu and saute for 3-5 more minutes.
- Top with green onion and sesame seed and serve with white rice.
