Fried Ginger Noodles & Spicy Beef Stir Fry by Rachel Schultz

FRIED GINGER NOODLES & SPICY BEEF STIR FRY
Serves 3-4

1 pound flank steak
1/2 cup soy sauce
3 tablespoons water
1/3 cup honey
2 tablespoons sesame oil
2 garlic cloves, minced
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1 teaspoon toasted sesame seeds
16 ounces chinese noodles
1 cup scallions, thinly sliced
¼ cup ginger, minced
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1/4 cup sherry vinegar

Combine soy sauce, water, honey, sesame oil, garlic, red pepper flakes, and sesame seeds in a plastic bag. Marinate flank steak for up to 24 hours. Cook flank steak in a skillet over medium-high heat for 2-3 minutes.

Remove from heat and allow to rest for 10 minutes. Meanwhile, prepare noodles according to package instructions.

Transfer strained noodles to skillet and add scallions, ginger, vegetable oil, and sherry vinegar. Fry noodles for about 3 minutes, until slightly crispy. Serve sliced steak over noodles and topped with cilantro or chili garlic sauce.
