OUR NEW (EMPTY) APARTMENT

February 4, 2013

Our new home!! Yes, yes, yes. We’re finally here. Give yourself an apartment tour. I’m already brainstorming if there’s any renter-friendly way to improve these kitchen cabinets. I’m already brainstorming if there’s any renter-friendly way to improve these kitchen cabinets. Master bathroom. Big but dreary. And no natural light. This one may be a challenge.

Our big (to me) pantry. One of my favorite parts of the place. It’s about 5×5 feet. Will probably be the world’s smallest nursery should that day come before we move out.

If you find you need more kitchen storage space a baker’s rack might be helpful too: kitchen aid mixer, blender, slow cooker storage etc. and free up some of your cabinet space. A baker’s rack too with a high bar for hanging a spice rack is wonderful as well. Blessings to you and have fun! :)

      Thanks!

  • Cabinet idea: remove some of your doors and store them (with a ziploc containing all their hardware), to have cute open shelving. (Full disclosure: this is not originally my idea; I borrowed it from this great post: http://something-ivory.blogspot.com/2012/11/guest-post-decorating-within-your.html)

apartment decorating is tricky! excited to see what you do. using washi tape or fabric are easy (removable) ways to perk up cabinets. for the bathroom sometimes all it takes is a good lightbulb to help the lighting situation… and lots of small pops of bright colors.

Yes, it’s definitely a selling point for me.
