STRAWBERRY OAT POWER SMOOTHIE

April 15, 2013

My other half has this little quirk about smoothies. He is less than interested in having orange juice put in them. (They “assault” every other flavor and make the orange taste over powering.) This definitely filters out a LOT of recipes since orange juice is a staple in the smoothie world. If on the orange juice issue, you could take it or leave it – you’ll still find this smoothie a hearty and filling meal or snack. (Plus, no ice! As I prefer. It makes drinks more sustainable for storing in the fridge.)

Yum! This looks delicious! Do you freeze the fruit or just toss them in fresh?
