Not having the proper ingredients for a recipe is extremely frustrating. Sort of like if you’re working on some kind of DIY project and you don’t have adequate space or tools, the entire thing goes from being fun to mission: impossible. I like knowing how to make ingredients that I might not keep on hand, but may need at a moment’s notice. Such as – marshmallow fluff. Because we all love saving trips to the store.
HOMEMADE MARSHMALLOW FLUFF
About 5 cups
3 egg whites
2 cups corn syrup
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 cups powdered sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla
Combine egg whites, corn syrup, and salt with a mixer for about 10 minutes.
Add powdered sugar and beat until incorporated. Stir in vanilla.
