WHO I LIKE ON PINTEREST

December 10, 2014
Rachel Schultz

When my millennial friends and I lounge around debating which social media is our favorite, I am a pronounced and firm supporter of my one true internet love – my pinterest. Much like the mobile phone, Pinterest is an invention I wonder how people functioned without it. Recently, I sent Pinterest a business inquiry to see if they will send me brand paraphernalia just so I can rep my love for them. They did not pay me for it (or this post). I just wanted it because my devotion is so true. Has this paragraph made my feelings toward Pinterest clear? They are strong and adoring.

Recently I wrote a post of my favorite blogs to read. While I was sorting and compiling who I would include in that list, I realized there is a whole additional genre of people who have great Pinterest presences.  A good pinner has organized boards, taste that matches mine (mostly), does not only pin their own stuff (if a blogger), and pins frequently. I spend time on Pinterest almost everyday. Here are some who make it worthwhile.

ME, RACHEL SCHULTZ
WHO: This is not included in hopes you will go follow me, but I think Pinterest is such a useful too for myself. Sometimes I get on just to look through my old boards. I do not remember all the pins I pinned six months ago. And now I have been on Pinterest for over three years. This is the function of the site afterall – to be a bulletin board for sorting your ideas easily with links and accessibility from anywhere (with the help of the worldwide web). So yes, I routinely scan through my own boards to see what things I want to stir up again. Remember to have yourself on your own list of favorite Pinteresters!
FAVORITE BOARD: too close to call between children’s fashion and walls & windows
RECENTLY PINNED: a rare non-white kitchen that I love
