When you have a bundle of over-ripe bananas, it is obviously time for a loaf of banana bread to be whipped up! Do you love banana bread? If you are like me, however, I often get a craving to make banana bread regardless of if I have ripened bananas ready or not. They do get eaten pretty quickly sometimes. This method quickly ripens bananas for any baked goods. And it does it fast! The long of short of it is, put them in the oven!

HOW TO RIPEN BANANAS QUICKLY FOR BAKING copy

Preheat oven to 250 degrees. Place bananas on a rimmed baking sheet. Bake for 15 minutes. The peel will turn black; do not be alarmed! Inside is a perfectly moist and sweet banana for all your baking.

This is the recipe I use for fluffy banana bread.
