This post is part of a series I do to write important things I need to tell you about and a mix of homemaker stuff. And let’s be honest, sometimes popular culture BECAUSE I HAVE THOUGHTS. I love doing things by the seasons, so I share one that often. There are some re-occuring categories such as: “netflix-ing,” “unpopular opinion,” “all is vanity,” “into it!,” and “I am not tech-y, but.”

parties, y’all: I bought this group trivia game for our summer parties. Trivia is SO fun, I wanted a trivia set that was just like, normal trivia, not trivial pursuit weird.

into it!: Also for parties I wanted some drink dispensers that were plastic (for durability) but still pretty. And not expensive. Kind of a lot of demands. I found these and have loved.

for the children: Do you shop for children’s clothes on amazon? I hadn’t done a lot, but they have a lot of good stuff that is low priced and obviously the amazon prime free shipping factor. This and this  (and honestly like a million more things I found) are so like, good stylish children clothes! Rare! And I just got this romper for a friend’s new baby. I like popping in a copy of this book for new parents too.

insta life: v v all about the home renovation progress on this instagram account.

I am not tech-y, but: I got a pop socket because I have small hands and holding an iphone kind of hurts my hand. I’m not sure if it’s really doing anything? It kind of makes my hand just hurt in a different way than before. And now it’s harder to fit in my small purse. Am I missing the pop socket thing?

pretty things: All about finding neutral colored versions of utilitarian things for them to be more pretty. I actually don’t mind the classic green hose because green pretty much always works outdoors. But we got this white garden hose and it is really strong and inexpensive.

OH, MY EYES!: I’m only on the computer for a couple hours a day but I got computer glasses and am really obsessed with them. They make my eyes feel so good when I’m looking at a screen. I did the roebling in “amber toffee.”

films: Infinity Wars was amazing and Solo was very whatever. The actor for Han did not capture his personality at all. Or look like him. So I feel like you should have one or the other?

renovation progress: we’re about to start our DINING ROOM and I will explode. I like getting dining room inspiration from great restaurants. This is one.

netflix-ing: Sad a few of our most beloved children’s shows left netflix with the whole disney thing! We miss Little Einsteins and Agent Oso the most, two of our very favorites. I have been working on a post of our favorite children’s shows on netflix. I am opinionated about it.

Organization Nation: This is very much a it’s-all-in-the-details thing, but I have liked having cute thumbtacks for our bulletin boards.

foodstuff: I love this cookbook! I don’t ever make homemade ice cream, but the (low) price of the book is worth it for just the baked good recipes. Haven’t made a bad one yet. If Jeni does it, it is going to be good.

I eagerly await your children’s tv show review. I have two littles and we have only watched Little Einsteins. (I bought two dvds from a used book store so we just cycle through the same six episodes – they are none the wiser. Lol)

Nice! I thought about buying the dvd’s too, but amazon they’re pretty expensive!

Hi. We love trivia games. What is the name of the game you bought? Thanks

    • Rachel Schultz

What is the name of the group trivia game you got? I agree…trivial pursuit = weird.
