THINKING ABOUT THE SUMMER OF 2019

June 6, 2019

This post is part of a series I do to write important things I need to tell you about and a mix of homemaker stuff. And let’s be honest, sometimes popular culture because I am I think going to always be someone who engages with “the arts” AND I HAVE THOUGHTS. I love doing things by the seasons, so I share one that often. There are some re-occuring categories such as: “all is vanity,” “a follow,” “into it!,” “prime-able,” “a cry for help,” and “I am not tech-y, but.”

amazon life: these amazon prime-able, beautiful vintage style knobs. I want to pick one to replace the cabinet hardware on our living room built-ins.

getting the ol’ groceries: the free market is reaping me many benefits when it comes to grocery shopping. We are now doing instacart which is literally like $1 to have someone do all your grocery shopping and drive them to your house. Like, i don’t understand how but OKAY.

well!: now that is what I call a before and after.

cool: I think casual maxi dresses may be a new mom uniform. I love dresses, but knee length ones don’t lend enough to bending over or getting on the ground for kids stuff. When I saw my friend wearing one of these dresses and she told me it was $20 on amazon I ordered the emerald one promptly!

exteriors: if I need to design a carport, why are any others EVEN BOTHERING to try to be my inspiration!!

renovation nation!: should I do this for our basement stairs?

kitchen stuff: I got this because slicing things paper thin is SCIENTIFICALLY PROVEN to make them taste better. Like, red onions in a salad, pears in a salad, anything on a salad. Toppers in general – make them REALLY thin.

BABIES: one of my all time favorite nurseries and it is from one of my favorite new instagram follows, @pierceandward.
