MINIATURE PEAR PIES

Ingredients
  • 3 pears, halved and cored
  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 3 tablespoons whipped butter
  • ¼ cup blue cheese, crumbled
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup walnuts, crushed
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Place pears flat-side-down on a lined baking sheet.
  3. Cover exterior with puff pastry. Make tiny slices in pastry with a butter knife. Spread butter across pastry exteriors.
  4. Bake for 20 minutes.
  5. After removing from oven, turn pears up and immediately top with blue cheese, brown sugar, and walnuts.
