MINIATURE PEAR PIES

Serves: 5-6
- 3 pears, halved and cored
- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- 3 tablespoons whipped butter
- ¼ cup blue cheese, crumbled
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- ½ cup walnuts, crushed
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- Place pears flat-side-down on a lined baking sheet.
- Cover exterior with puff pastry. Make tiny slices in pastry with a butter knife. Spread butter across pastry exteriors.
- Bake for 20 minutes.
- After removing from oven, turn pears up and immediately top with blue cheese, brown sugar, and walnuts.
