GOAT CHEESE & BLACK PEPPER POPOVERS

Ingredients
  • 1 cup flour, sifted
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 4 ounces goat cheese
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons honey
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
  2. Stir together flour, black pepper, and salt. Incorporate milk and eggs into dry ingredients.
  3. Divide batter into popover (or muffin) pan.
  4. Whip together honey and goat cheese in a stand mixer.
  5. Divide whipped cheese and drop into center of each popover's batter.
  6. Bake for 30 minutes. Top with additional honey.
