CITRUS BISCUITS

Ingredients
  • ¼ cup cream
  • 1 orange, juiced
  • ¼ cup honey
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cups flour
  • 3 teaspoons orange zest, divided
  • 1 tablespoons baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 stick butter, diced
  • Blackberries (optional)
  • Whip topping (optional)
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Whisk together cream, orange juice, honey, vanilla, and egg. In a separate bowl, combine flour, 1 teaspoon zest, baking powder, and salt. Mix in butter until a coarse meal forms.
  3. Add wet ingredients and form dough into a ball.
  4. Roll out onto floured parchment paper. Slice into squares and transfer parchment paper to baking sheet. Top with remaining orange zest.
  5. Bake for 12-14 minutes, or until golden brown.
