Hm. Is that name redundant? Yes. Cookies & Cream… Cookies. I just don’t know any other way to aptly title them. Another option was Oreo Cookies because they have oreos in them. But that’s confusing and not really super helpful either. As these are not the Oreo cookies you buy in a plastic tray. “Cookies & Cream Cookies,” it is then. What we call them doesn’t really matter because their magnificent taste is what you’ll remember. A rose by any other name would smell as sweet, no?
Cookies & Cream Cookies
Makes 36 cookies
1 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup sugar
1 package cookies & cream pudding mix
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
10 oreos, crumbled
1/2 cup white chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cream together butter and sugars with a mixer. Slowly incorporate pudding mix, vanilla, and eggs.
Add flour, baking soda, and salt. Stir together by hand with a spoon until dough forms. Fold crumbled oreos and white chocolate chips into dough.
Form into 1-2 inch balls and arrange on a lined baking sheet.
Bake for 11-13 minutes.
