Hi, my name is Rachel, and I make presentations.
I am like, super into make powerpoints (actually “keynotes” since I’m a mac user). There might not be a situation in existence where a slideshow isn’t needed.
In college, me and my friend (hi Tyler) were super into the board game Settlers of Catan. We love it, but it’s a total witch to teach somebody. The rules are just really complicated and nuanced. So, I made a slideshow about how to play. Imagine us sitting in Tyler’s dorm, the two of us and some ignorant third friend. Tyler and I get a craving to play Settlers. Ignorant third friend doesn’t know how. I whip out the slideshow and Tyler and I are like, “Read this; we’ll be in the cafeteria. See you in an hour.”
In recent months, David and I considered some options of what to do with his vacation time. AN IDEAL MOMENT FOR A SLIDESHOW! I delivered our options and my research findings via slideshow and we made our (awesome) decision. (Yes, bar graphs happened.)
David gets a kick out of this and no occasion is too small to throw together a presentation. (Ex: where should we go to lunch?, should we buy this rug?, should we finish this movie or go to bed?, etc.) Should you make this jalapeno popper pizza? Consider this post my slideshow that yes, yes, yes, you should.
