March 9, 2013
Rachel Schultz

Alright, this won’t be a secret for long. But, I can still call it a surprise ingredient. Most of my years have been spent in the jolly ol’ land of Michigan. But, I was born in, and my kin comes from the great state of Tennessee. Therefore, I naturally have some humble opinions about BBQ. And I will now impart to you my go-to crock pot recipe for a good sandwich.

Extra sauce, please.

Looks great and easy. I make a London Broil the same way. I pour a can of coke over the meat and drain after meat is tender and then add your favorite BBQ sauce and pepper flakes if you like it a little hot! I will defiantly be making this on a football day. Thanks for sharing!

My husband is a diabetic and I have been making this version for years without the brown sugar, I use diet coke and the lowest sugar content that I can find and it is very good.
