This post is part of a series I do to write important things I need to tell you about and a mix of homemaker stuff. And let’s be honest, sometimes popular culture because I am I think going to always be someone who engages with “the arts” AND I HAVE THOUGHTS. I love doing things by the seasons, so I share one that often. There are some re-occuring categories such as: “all is vanity,” “a follow,” “into it!,” “prime-able,” “a cry for help,” and “I am not tech-y, but.”
next renovation?: we’ve been starting to talk about getting a trailer or camper (or school bus??) to renovate when we finish our house in maybe 2-3 years. This one on instagram definitely didn’t make me less interested! And this one was one of the first that gave me a vision for how good old campers can look.
into it!: I finally sprung for the like six dollars for a bottle of balsamic reduction and it is in my top ten of most worth it things to buy store-bought instead of doing homemade. Reducing balsamic is hard, so this is tastier and SO MUCH easier. And the bottle lasts a while. It’s so delicious! I’m using it whenever I can WITH EASE.
films: watched this ten year old movie called valkyrie and loved it. I can’t really take Tom Cruise in a serious drama because he’s so action movie but I got used to it. Maybe a 10/10.
AUTUMN GLORY: it’s fall. I am happy. This pizza is coming out. And for me these are a got-to-make at LEAST once a year.
kitchen progress: we are mid adding an island and it is making our kitchen look so much better. Balanced, more functional, and in a way, bigger as well. This is such a good kitchen island by the way.
insta life: this woman makes the most major party trays and has me completely inspired. Where does one get a platter that big?
crafternoon: I “don’t” sew, but I might sew for this.
all is vanity: MAYBE SHOCKING BUT I’ve never really washed my face. I need to know if there is an underground group that this is the case for. I mean, it gets clean in the shower, but I’ve never washed my whole face with soap or something before bed. I just use a little make up remover cloth. I bought this gentle face wash and started using it I guess? But I don’t think it’s made my skin nicer. Are there some skin types that just don’t need to wash their face?
