Okay, this is a stir fry recipe. It’s a sesame chicken, brought to us in a simple form by Martha. I like broccoli with it. Does anyone else not like broccoli reheated the next day? It has to be fresh for me or it gets not appetizing. Other vegetables are not like this for me so, I don’t know. But I love stir fry at home. I like pf changs. Consider this that, but your dining area is likely better lit. BUT THE FOOD WILL BE JUST AS TASTY.
SIMPLE SESAME CHICKEN
Serves 2
2 eggs whites
1/4 cup corn starch
2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced
1/4 cup honey
4 tablespoons sesame seeds
4 tablespoons soy sauce
2 cloves garlic, minced
3 green onions, sliced
Broccoli, steamed
Brown rices, prepared
Whisk egg whites in a shallow dish. Add corn starch and form a paste. Coat chicken slices in mixture.
Place chicken in skillet over medium heat. Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping occasionally. Meanwhile, whisk together honey, sesame seeds, soy sauce, and garlic.
Pour sauce over chicken and cook for a final 2 minutes.
Serve over brown rice with broccoli. Top with green onion.
