french bread pizzettes

Pizzettes. A fancy word for tiny pizzas. My friend Niki hooked me up with this recipe and it’s totally boss because you can make them late at night when you want to savagely devour anything in sight easily in the toaster/broiler.

French Bread Pizzettes
Serves 3-4

1 loaf french bread
4 ounces pizza sauce
4 ounces fresh mozzarella, sliced
Oregano

Preheat oven to high broil. Slice french bread into about 3/4 inch pieces.

Toast very lightly in toaster for 1-2 minutes, or until each side is slightly golden. Top with sauce and mozzarella and sprinkle with oregano.

Broil for just a few minutes, until cheese is melty. Keep a close eye because they can go from perfectly browned to burnt pretty fast!
