BALSAMIC BLUEBERRY GRILLED CHEESE

October 13, 2013

A common question I get on the blog is: what is your favorite thing you’ve made? My answer is usually roasted strawberry & chocolate grilled brie – which is kind of a big deal because as of this post, I’ve shared 278 recipes. (Wow!)

So it’s saying something that this sandwich reminds me a lot of that other one. By association alone it’s earned it’s place as a tasty, grown-up grilled cheese.

I’ve never made grilled cheese before but this was amazing and very easy to make. So so delicious. The flavors are complex and compliment each other perfectly!

  • Today I bought the most wonderful tasting Blueberry Balsamic Vinegar. Even though I think I could just drink it since it is so delicious, I did a quick google search for recipes and landed on your post about the Balsamic Blueberry Grilled Cheese. Oh. My. Gosh. I actually began to salivate as I was reading. I am a big fan of grilled cheese and of blueberries. I can’t wait to try your sandwich recipe! I will keep searching for a way to use my delicious blueberry vinegar, but meanwhile I will be running out to get Havarti so I can try your sandwich!
